If you want to spice up your indoor space during the world of winter, think about decorating with tropical plants like orchids, or color cyclamen, and the many varieties of green plants that are available right now. There are different types of foliage plants that have variegated colors on their leaves. Maybe a silver-leaf philodendron, a peace lily, or a splash of color with a croton. It is more interesting if you group different ones together to acquire a pleasing display. Keep in mind leaf lecture, plant size, and growing habits when choosing your mix. It is nice to add some vertical interest too, like a snake plant, or ferns give an airy feel. Use care in the maintenance of your display and only water when the soil feels dry. Be sure that they drain well and do not sit in water. Use fertilizer sparingly since they do not require as much as your outdoor garden in the summer. Keep the display “lookin’ good” by discarding faded flowers or tired foliage.
