Just wanted to inform you about a special exhibit that is opening at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum beginning February 12. It is the “Greet Hall of Orchid,” sponsored by the Fischer family, owners of Orchids Limited of Plymouth. It should be a beautiful sight and will take the chill of the outside temperature! The greenhouse is buzzing behind the scenes seeding, transplanting, starting cuttings for YOU for a glorious spring gardening season. Have you started planning your strategy yet? Made some new plans, like maybe raised beds, or new color scheme? Predictions are that blue, in any tone from light blue to turquoise, is the fashion color this year. This snow and cold, believe it or not, will soon disappear so start making our plans! To brighten your winter days, I want you to know that we have added fresh cut bouquets for your pleasure and roses too. Take a look!
