Welcome to June! Finally, some sunshine!
“Crunchy” is a term you have heard before in relation to eating popcorn or chips, but now there is a new meaning. It describes someone who is environmentally conscious and probably buys more organic products at the grocery store and at garden centers like ours. Some of us are starting to be more “crunchy,” maybe a little bit at a time. Maybe we are recycling papers or bottles, but you can also be “crunchy” in your garden. Raise more of your own veggies using an organic soil enhancer like Chickity-Doo-Doo or the fertilizers from Espoma Company or Whitney Farms. Look for them on our garden center shelves.
