Description
Japanese String Gardens. Also known as Kokedama (ko-ka-DAH-ma), this ancient Japanese form of bonsai is one of the hottest trends in indoor gardening. A Kokedama (moss ball) is basically a plant grown in a ball of special soil that is covered in sphagnum moss and tied with string. They can be hung in a window or placed on a decorative tray and used as a centerpiece.
In this hands-on class, you will create your very own Kokedama which consists of one 4” foliage plant (makes a 6” Kokedama), special soil mix, sheet moss and string plus expert advice and instructions. Kids 8 and older, welcome with an adult.
You may have 2 people making one item. You will be charged per item made, not by the number of people attending. Space is limited and we still need to know how many people are attending.
