Past workshops have included miniature gardening, succulent dish gardens, fairy gardening, sand cast stepping stones, terrariums, Japanese string gardens, holiday spruce tip planters and our most popular of them all, our spring planting parties where you can plant your own hanging basket or container garden. Annual events include the Field + Festival Summer, Fall and Holiday Markets.

Fall Container Garden Planting Party – Minneapolis Saturday, September 10th

Bring your containers and we will help select all the plants needed to create your own
unique fall container designs. If you’re in need of outdoor containers, choose from Wagners
selection. After the plants are selected, we’ll do all the potting for you. You’ll go home with
beautiful, planted containers that will give your home seasonal fall color. If your containers are too
large to transport, bring the measurements and we’ll help you with plant selection.
Registration is required.$10 registration fee is reimbursed the day of the event at the time of checkout.
Plants and potting soil charges will be calculated at checkout based on the size of your containers.Please note the $10 registration fee is per person. Each person can plant as many pots as they wish. Only one $10 registration fee required per person.

Read moreOur popular evergreen container workshops will once again be held at our Minneapolis store. Class duration is approximately one hour. Only one person per paid container. If the class is canceled for any reason you will be fully refunded.
This hands-on class will teach you how to make and take care of a Mixed Evergreen Container. We will cover the variety of evergreen boughs that can be used. You will also get ideas on how to enhance your creations with other interesting accessories (Available to purchase). You can also bring your own decorations. Fee $65 plus tax. Includes: 13″ patio planter, soil and mixed evergreens. Latex gloves will be provided. Please, bring your own pruners. Pruners are also available for purchase.

Read moreCome and create your spruce top pots in the comfort of our greenhouse. We will provide easy to use bundle of mixed evergreens, 13″ patio pot and soil. Latex gloves provided. Bring your own pruners or purchase a pair in-store. You are also welcome to bring any decorations you reuse every year. Plenty of twigs, berries and decorations are available to purchase. This is a great event for the experienced “designer”. If you have not done evergreen pots before, we recommend our instructor guided workshops.
Fee $55 plus tax, includes 13″ patio planter, soil and mixed evergreens. Please, bring your own pruners.
